About us

Hello! I am Sebastián Alvarado and I am based in Río Gallegos (Santa Cruz , Patagonia Argentina). I got my tourism degree in 2007 and currently, I am certified as a birdwatching guide. I've been participating in several conservation projects and environmental education initiatives. Therefore, I've written some articles to increase the knowledge of wild populations of birds and mammals.

I love birding and I combine it with several outdoor activities as hobbies (trekking, sport climbing, fly fishing and photography). These allow me to be in contact with nature permanently. Although I mainly guide around my County, I have experience birdwatching throughout most of Patagonia and also in several areas of Argentina such as Pampas, Espinal, Dry Chaco, Iberá Wetlands, and others.​

Last 2020, I decided to combine my profession and passion for nature to develop this new entrepreneurship that offers birding tours in my State, which is home to more than 250 bird species and has wonderful landscapes to discover.
